Kyle McCord Has Appeared To Have Found His New Home
Usually, the starting quarterback for a school like Ohio State doesn't get up and transfer somewhere, but McCord didn't see a future with the Buckeyes anymore, so he had to go out searching for a new home.
McCord was linked to Nebraska for a while, but a few days ago, Nebraska lost interest in the junior quarterback. McCord might've just found where he will be playing the last year of his college career.
Syracuse
Syracuse recently hired new head coach Fran Brown, and now he will get a new quarterback to go with him.
I like the move for McCord. I don't think he was a top-tier quarterback, and he didn't seem like he could handle the pressure of a program like Ohio State.
You have to be able to handle criticism all the time at a school like Ohio State, and McCord was not able to do so. Syracuse will be so different.
Syracuse is a basketball school, and what they do on the football field is a plus. People won't be getting on McCord about every throw and decision he makes, and he will be able to breathe there.
McCord will also be able to help out first-year head coach Fran Brown, and Brown is lucky that he will have a guy like McCord as his leader on offense.
It didn't work at Ohio State, but McCord is a good quarterback. He is a good one, not built to play big-time college football, but he will do very well at Syracuse.
I wish McCord nothing but the best, and I hope he balls out for the Orange.
