LSU's Top Wide Receiver Decommit Has Found A New Home

Dakorien Moore is the number one ranked wide receiver in the 2025 high school recruiting class from several different media outlets and, at one point, was committed to playing in Baton Rouge. Still, he decided to de-commit from the program in May and reopened his recruitment.

Moore is from Texas, and of course, the Longhorns were going to be players for his services, along with Ohio State, Oregon, and even going back to LSU. Still, on Fourth of July night, Moore killed any Tiger fan's dream of returning on his commitment because he chose to play for Oregon.

LSU is known for having great wide receivers; look at what they are doing at the NFL level. Minnesota Vikings' Justin Jefferson and Cincinnati Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase are two of the best in the NFL. In April, they just had Malik Nabers drafted sixth overall by the New York Giants.

Moore does not want to be part of LSU's wide receiver's remarkable history, a significant choice he will have to live with if things don't go well at Oregon. Still, LSU will be fine regarding the wide receiver position because their history shows they can produce that position with the best of them in the sport.
