Ohio State and special teams coordinator Parker Fleming parted ways on Wednesday.
The Buckeyes struggled on special teams in 2023, and many were calling for Fleming to be off the staff for next season.
Ryan Day is taking control of his staff, knowing that he could be on the hot seat in 2024 if things do not change.
Day is already talking about hiring a real offensive coordinator, and now he is getting serious on special teams.
It sucks to see a coach have to leave, but it is in the best interest of the program for this move to be made.
