Michigan Couldn't Be Any More Pathetic In Their Home Opener

Michigan opened its 2023 season with a 30-3 win against East Carolina, and you are probably wondering why I have the word pathetic in the title.

There was nothing pathetic about their performance on the field, and of course, they look like a team that can bring home a National Championship this season.

What was pathetic was all the stuff they did that was not involved with throwing or running the football.

What In The World Is Michigan Doing?

Before the game, players wore shirts supporting their head coach, and starting quarterback J.J McCarthy was seen wearing a free Harbaugh shirt.

What are we trying to free him from? Harbaugh was caught lying to the NCAA and is serving a punishment. It's also a bad look to have your starting quarterback wearing a shirt trying to free his head coach from a suspension that the school he plays for gave him.

The funny thing is that it wasn't even the worst part of the afternoon. The starting offense lined up in a train and held up the number four, Harbaugh's number, when he played for Michigan before their first offensive play.

You do that when you're honoring a teammate or coach who has passed away, not a guy who got suspended for recruiting violations and lying.

What a horrible look that was for the team, and it's a good thing they took care of business in the game itself because the actual playing is the only thing that is going well for this program at the moment.
