Michigan Keeps Beating Ohio State With This Latest Move

Updated: Jun 27, 2023

The Michigan VS. Ohio State rivalry is one of the best in all sports, and it even goes on during the recruiting trail, and Michigan just got another huge win over Ohio State on Tuesday.

First of all, I just want to thank my mom and dad, family, friends, and the Moeller Community For supporting me. With that being said…I Will be Committing to the University of Michigan 💙💛 #GoBlue @CoachMarkElder @MHart2032 @Coach_SMoore @coachclink pic.twitter.com/M0pmKWYpg6 — Jordan Marshall (@J_MARSH2024) March 21, 2023

A four-star 2024 running back from Cincinnati Ohio, and the 189th player in the ESPN 300 Jordan Marshall committed to the Wolverines last night over the Buckeyes.

Why Marshall Committing To Michigan Was Huge?

The thing about Marshall committing to Michigan over Ohio State was losing a guy from the state of Ohio to Michigan has always been a big no and it is the same if a kid from Michigan commits to Ohio State.

It always feels like a huge win for the program if they steal a in state recruit, and the Wolverines are feeling that win right now. Losing an in-state player to is not a good look after what has happened to Ohio State the last two seasons. Ohio State has lost to their rival two years in a row, and last year it was a beatdown in Columbus.

Ohio State Needs To Turn Their Luck Around

Wolverine’s head coach Jim Harbaugh was once on the hot seat because he started 0-5 against Ohio State, but the table has turned, and now the current Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day is 1-2 against his rival. Both teams made the College Football Playoff last season, but they would both go on to lose in great games in the semi finals.

Expect Michigan and Ohio State to be two of the top five teams this season, and one could seriously win it all. The 2023 season has gotten off great for the Wolverines in the rivalry, and now it’s time for Ohio State to punch back this time it better be on the football field if they want to change the narrative over the past two years.
