Michigan State is great for college football when they are firing on all cylinders, and they need a man who can help them get back to winning.
The perfect man for this job is Urban Meyer. Meyer is a three time National Champion, winning two titles at Florida and one at Ohio State.
Meyer has won everywhere he has gone at the college level, and Michigan State needs a winner. I know Meyer didn't go great when he coached in the NFL for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021, but he was never cut out for the NFL in the first place.
The public image of Meyer at the moment could be a better one after his time spent with the Jaguars, but taking a job at Michigan State and making them relevant again could get him back in the good graces of the public eye.

Meyer knows how to win in the BIG Ten after spending a handful of seasons coaching Ohio State. He also knows what it takes to beat Michigan, and there's nothing better than watching Michigan State beat them.
College Football is changing quickly next year, the BIG Ten will welcome UCLA, USC, Oregon, and Washington. The conference will be challenging, and the Spartans must find a way to compete; Meyer will get them where they need to be so they won't be rolled over weekly by these big-time programs.
