NFL Start 'Em Sit 'Em PPR Week 3

NFL Week 3 is here. You have fantasy QUESTIONS, and we have ANSWERS. After a crazy few weeks, fantasy can be unpredictable. But whether you are 2-0, 0-2, or 1-1, there is always a chance to do well this week! Here are four players you should start or sit in your points-per-reception fantasy football league for Week 3!

START: Rashid Shaheed (WR)

Rashid Shaheed has had an incredible start to the season. After putting up 16.3 points in Week 1 against Carolina, he backed it up with 20.9 points in Dallas. The Saints have the hottest offense in the NFL right now, and the passing game is on fire.

While New Orleans most likely won’t put up 40+ points for a third straight week, Shaheed will have a chance to make a few big plays against an Eagles secondary that allowed Darnell Mooney and Drake London to eclipse 16+ fantasy points last week.

SIT: Carson Steele (RB)

After the news broke that Isiah Pacheco is out for 6-8 weeks, many fantasy owners reached for Carson Steele, who is expected to get the bulk of carries in his absence. But don’t start Steele yet. While he is an intriguing option, it is still unknown how he will be used in this Chiefs offense.

With Perine stellar in the receiving game and Kareem Hunt returning to his original team, it is unknown what role for each player will be. The best bet is to be safe and sit Steele until he is proven that he can be a full time back.

SIT: Anthony Richardson (QB)

While Anthony Richardson has a lot of potential to be great in fantasy this year, a matchup against the Bears this week is a sit. Richardson struggled last week, throwing three interceptions against the Packers.

He will now face a tough Bears defense that held CJ Stroud and Will Levis under 15 fantasy points and can easily capitalize off turnovers. Sit Richardson unless there’s no one better to start.

START: Trey McBride (TE)

After a solid week one performance, McBride pleased fantasy owners with 18.7 fantasy points including a fumble recovery touchdown. While Detroit has held tight ends to only four catches and less than 50 yards this season, including shutting out Cade Otton last week, they have yet to play a tight end like McBride.

After six catches against Los Angeles last week, McBride should see more volume and will be a big target for Kyler Murray. With a high ADP, the tight end is starting to pay off for fantasy owners as he’s must start this week.
