NFL Week Ten Picks Against The Spread
It's another exciting week of football as we are now into Week Ten of the 2023 NFL season. While some teams are on the brink of playoff elimination, like Carolina (1-7) and Arizona (1-8), others are also getting close to clinching like Philadelphia (8-1) and Kansas City (7-2). But nonetheless, it's still any given Sunday as another week of NFL can shake up the playoff picture once again!
Thursday Night Showdown
Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears (-3.5)
A battle of two struggling teams, the Panthers and Bears enter this week as one of the two worst teams in the NFL. But despite the records, it actually will not hurt the Bears draft position win or lose. Chicago owns Carolina's first round pick, so it does not matter who wins this game. Nonetheless, the Bears are only one game behind Green Bay in the division as I see them getting a close win and covering.
Pick: Chicago (-3.5)

Green Bay Packers (+3.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers
One of the two most iconic NFL teams clash in the Steel City. But it's not Big Ben versus Aaron Rodgers anymore. Pittsburgh has one of the best defenses in the league despite the offensive struggles. Meanwhile Green Bay showed up on all sides of the ball in a 20-3 win versus the Rams last week. Now a tough road game, I still see the Packers covering the spread as an upset pick of the week. Can Green Bay go on a little run?
Pick: Green Bay (+3.5)
Cleveland Browns (+6) at Baltimore Ravens
The Cleveland Browns got back on track shutting out the Arizona Cardinals last week as the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Seattle Seahawks at home. Now both teams battle after the Ravens blew out Cleveland earlier this year when DTR was starting. Now, DeShaun Watson is back and gives the Browns a chance to win against the NFL's hottest team. Even if they don't win, I see them covering the spread in a close battle.
Pick: Cleveland (+6)
Houston Texans (+8) at Cincinnati Bengals
What a performance from C.J. Stroud last week! Now, his Texans take on the Bengals on the road in what could be a shootout. Cincinnati has won four in a row including wins over 49ers and Bills, and now host the NFL's top rookie quarterback. I think this game can be a must-watch as Stroud and Burrow duel. The team that has the ball last wins this game, and even if it's by a touchdown, Texans cover.
Pick: Houston (+8)
Primetime Picks
New York Jets (-2) at Las Vegas Raiders
After a tough 27-6 loss to the Chargers, the Jets will look to get back to .500 versus a Raiders team with new life after coach Josh McDaniels was fired. While Las Vegas looked good last week against the Giants, Aidan O'Connell could struggle versus the elite Jets defense, which held Justin Herbert to under 200 yards and no touchdowns. I think Zach Wilson has a bounce back game and New York takes it.
Pick: New York (-2)
Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills (-7.5)
The Denver Broncos are coming off a big win versus the Chiefs and a bye week, while the Bills lost and currently sit outside the playoff picture. There is a case for both sides winning, but a tough Buffalo atmosphere will lead the Bills to victory.
Pick: Buffalo (-7.5)
The Rest Of The Picks
Colts (-1.5) over New England
Titans (+1) over Buccaneers
Vikings (+2.5) over Saints
Falcons (-2) over Cardinals
Lions (-1.5) over Chargers
Giants (+15.5) over Cowboys
Commanders (+6) over Cowboys
