Panthers Rumor – Three Teams Robbie Anderson Could Be Traded To
Robbie Anderson was seen yelling at wide receiver coach Joe Dailey on the sideline in the Panthers’ loss against the Los Angeles Rams. What next for Anderson?
This altercation to Anderson being ejected by the Panthers coaching staff. It is now likely that Robbie is going to be traded. What teams would even take Robbie? What could the Panthers get in return for Anderson?

If they were to trade Robby what teams would even take him? A wide receiver needy team for sure.
Green Bay Packers
The Packers wide receiver room isn’t the best and is reliant on two rookies, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs. With Watson potentially heading to IR that could open a spot. So if they were to add Anderson he could provide another veteran option along with Sammy Watkins for that inexperienced wide receiver room. This would likely be the top destination for Robbie. Anderson is going to be more inclined to play for the Packers. With the possibility of playing with Aaron Rodgers over the Panthers quarterback.

Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens wide receiver room is very thin with the departure of Hollywood Brown who was sent to the Arizona Cardinals. So Baltimore adding Robbie would strengthen their wide receiver room. Anderson could get the Ravens decent production from a better quarterback, Lamar Jackson.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa is another wide receiver needy team. They signed Cole Beesley who then retired, opening up a wide receiver spot. Robbie would be playing with Tom Brady who is way better quarterback then Carolina’s quarterback. But Scott Fitterer may be reluctant to trade Anderson to an NFC South Rival.
What Could the Panthers get in return for Anderson?
If Carolina were to trade Anderson, there wouldn’t be a lot that they could get in return because Anderson’s production is only 13 receptions, 206 yards and one touchdown. At most a very late round pick, a sixth or fifth. But a desperate team may part with an earlier round draft if GM Scott Fitterer can work his magic. With the Panthers keen to recoup draft capital and clear cap space, they may accept any offer they get.
Final Thoughts
Seeing what happened on the sidelines versus the Rams, that game is likely Anderson’s last game as a Carolina Panther. You can’t get in the face of your wide receiver coach and yell at him and expect nothing to happen.
Anderson also has previous for sidelines outbursts and was seen during the 2021 season going at it with teammates and coaches, being caught telling Sam Darnold to “tighten up” and getting into it with previous WR coach Frisman Jackson during seperate games during the season. As the Panthers look to regain capital looking to the future Anderson is an easy target, with the Green Bay Packers amongst the teams who may move for Anderson, while the Panthers may only get a late day three pick for the player after his latest transgression the team may just want the player gone.
