Patriots Vs. Browns: How To Watch, Stream, Listen, And More: A Complete Guide
As usual, there are plenty of different ways to watch the game for all types of viewers. Here’s an updated, compiled list of how you can get in on the action for Sunday’s game between the New England Patriots and the Cleveland Browns.
This Sunday, the New England Patriots and the Cleveland Browns are set to face off for the 26th time in league history. Currently, the Patriots narrowly lead the series 13-12. The last time the two teams played (during November of last season), the Patriots defeated the Browns 45-7 at Gillette Stadium. New England has won all of the games they’ve played against Cleveland in the last eight years, yet come into this game as a 2.5-point underdog…
There are plenty of ties between the Patriots and the Browns, such as Bill Belichick’s tenure as Head Coach of the Browns from 1991-1995. Another connection between the teams is probably the most obvious, being that of Jacoby Brissett, who’s played for both teams. A third connection we can bring up this week is the offseason swap of Chase Winovich and Mack Wilson. This should be somewhat of a revenge game for Mack Wilson but not so much for Winovich, who reportedly described the trade as “the best thing to ever happen to him.”
If you’re a Pats fan who watched a Browns game this year, you may have noticed Chase Winovich has moved on from his signature Clay Matthews-type hairstyle in favor of something more traditional. I didn’t think much of it when I noticed it, but during my research for this article, I found an interesting tidbit concerning his haircut that I thought would be fun to include: (Via clevelandbrowns.com)
“A few days before Chase Winovich was traded to the Browns in March, he had a dream. Winovich, a Patriots linebacker who was well-known from his long, blond hair he’s had since his college days at Michigan, got a haircut in the dream, which happened after he fell asleep while meditating. He took the dream as a sign the next morning that he needed one in real life. When his locks were gone and he felt as though he had a fresh start in life. Three days later, he found out where that fresh start would be. He received a call into the office of Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who let him know he was being traded to Cleveland. “You guys didn’t like the haircut?” he recalled saying to Belichick with a laugh.” Clevelandbrowns.com on Chase Winovich’s Haircut

Outlook And Win Record
Another focus of interest during this game will be Bill Belichick’s total wins. Bill is coming into this game with 323 Wins (including playoffs) and is only one win away from tying the late NFL legend George Halas (324 wins) for second on the NFL’s all-time win list. The record for most wins is held by former Dolphins Head Coach and fellow NFL legend, the late Don Shula, with 347. Bill Belichick only needs 25 more wins to best Shula’s record and become the most winningest coach in NFL history.
Last week, both the Patriots and the Browns finished the week with top-five rushing yardage performances on Rhamondre Stephenson’s and Nick Chubb’s efforts. Both running backs will look to continue their impressive play against team defenses ranked 28th (Cleveland) and 21st (New England) in rushing yards allowed per game. Based on both teams’ rolling out backup QBs on Sunday in Jacoby Brissett and Bailey Zappe, this game should be an old-school smashmouth slugfest, which prominently features the running game.
