Rob Schneider Tweets Disgusting Comment In Response To Dikembe Passing

Rob Schneider, Dikember, Mutombo, Stadium Rant

As the world mourned the loss of Dikembe Mutombo on Monday, one washed-up comedian/actor used the death of the Basketball Hall of Famer to push a political agenda. Mutombo was unable to win his battle with brain cancer and left behind a legacy of not just a great basketball player, but a great philanthropist and humanitarian.

Millions of tweets and Facebook posts paid homage to the 7'2 center, but at least one of them chose to use his death for political reasons. Washed-up comedian and Adam Sandler movie extra Rob Schneider posted a video of Mutombo and mocked it to celebrate the former Denver player's passing.

In the 2021 video, Mutombo encourages people to get vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus. Schneiders tweet read, "Rest in Peace....I'm sure this is just (another) coincidence. But I took a pass on the jab and I'm gonna not let anyone I know (and who will Listen) get it either!"

The old adage is "It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak, and remove all doubt." Some people can't help themselves from removing all doubt. The ones who speak the loudest are usually lost in obscurity, praying for a sliver of the spotlight to shine on them. This perfectly sums up Schneider and his lackluster career.

As an actor, Schneider is no longer worthy of top billing, and as a comedian, he's resorted to opening for more successful funny men or MC'ing gigs. Perhaps he is hoping his mindless and senseless tweet will give him a small sense of the success his peers have achieved. Maybe he's looking for a job in politics.

Given the specific type of slime he is, Schneider may fit right in between Maryland and Virginia. People are free to speak their minds, and they should. At the very least, it reveals who they truly are. Perhaps someday the tweets and comments about Schneider's eventual passing will be karma coming full circle.
