Ryan Day Made A Statement About What He Won't Be Doing This Season

Ohio State's head football coach, Ryan Day, during his National Signing Day press conference on Wednesday, confirmed what every Ohio State media person and fan has all known for a while.

Day confirmed that he will not be calling the offense's plays this season and will turn it over to offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien, whom he hired last month.

The only thing is O'Brien is one of the biggest names for the Boston College head coaching job, and if he takes that, who knows who Day will hire to be his next OC and if he will let them call the plays.

It seems like Day was impressed with O'Brien and all the play-calling experience he has had to turn over the keys to his offense to him.

We will have to wait and see if O'Brien is coaching for the Buckeyes this season, and if not, then maybe Day will start to backpedal on giving up calling the plays.
