Stadium Rant’s Best NBA Prop Bets 1-25-2023
In our latest NBA article on January 18, we swept the best bets card! Both player props cashed with ease. John Collins over 21.5 points, rebounds, and assists finished at 27 total! De’Aaron Fox finished the night with 31 points, easily beating his line of 24.5 points. We came close on our parlays. In the small risk parlay, Luka Doncic failed to get a double-double and Lebron James finished with 32 points, a half-point shy. In the longshot parlay, the New York Knicks got upset by the Washington Wizards and Josh Giddey fouled out early.
There was no article on January 19, instead, the single best bet was posted on the Stadium Rant discord and it hit! It was Stephen Curry over 27.5 points. Moving forward, all of our best NBA bets will be posted in these articles. We’re close to hitting one of these parlays, just gotta believe it! Ja Morant Over 36.5 Points+Assists -120
Welcome to the NBA primetime matchup of the night when Ja Morant faces off against a somewhat healthy Stephen Curry. The Memphis Grizzlies will be away at the Golden State Warriors in what should be an electric matchup with a lot of points on the board. Ja Morant has been an NBA stud this year and is pushing his odds for NBA MVP. On the season he is averaging 27.2 points per game and 7.9 assists per game. Unfortunately, he is all over the board with his totals but one thing that he’s good at is passing the ball.
These teams last squared off in late December when Stephen Curry was out with a shoulder injury. This time around, Curry will be starting. In that December game, Morant compiled 36 points and eight assists, easily destroying this line with points alone. With Curry back, there should be more points and opportunities in this matchup. I project that Morant will get around 32 points on the night with nine-plus assists. I’d play this up to 38.5.
Stephen Curry Under 39.5 Points+Assists+Rebounds -110
Since returning from his shoulder injury, Curry hasn’t been as elite as he normally is. He’s been more of a team player and moving the ball around. Stephen injured his shoulder on December 14, 2022. His first return to action was on January 10th against the Phoenix Suns. Since then, he has only hit this line in two out of six appearances. Over his last six games, Curry is averaging 25.83 points per game, 5.33 rebounds per game, and 4.33 assists per game. Altogether, he’s averaging 35.49 PRA per game, well below the line that I found on DraftKings.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 29.5 Points
The giants of the NBA square off in this matchup between the Denver Nuggets and the Milwaukee Bucks. Both Nikola Jokic and Giannis are tearing up the courts of the NBA and battling for that MVP spot. Giannis is averaging 30.9 points on the year but his comfy spot on the court is in the paint. The more he attacks the basket, the more free throws he attempts. It’s been almost a month since Giannis last attempted 20 or more field goals but that slump should end tonight as the big men dance.
When Giannis attempts over 20 shots in a game, his points skyrocket. In his last game against the Detroit Pistons, he made eight out of 15 shots and 11 out of 17 free throws. That game ended as a high-scoring blowout in which Giannis only played 26 minutes. He should easily play 30-plus minutes tonight and attempt 20-plus shots. The Bucks are heavily favored with Jokic questionable after he tore up the Pelicans last night with a triple-double. There’s a chance that Jokic rests today but that would allow Giannis to score more early on.

Franz Wagner Four-plus Assists/Orlando to Win James Harden Double Double/ Philadelphia to Win Giannis Antetokounmpo Double Double/Milwaukee to Win Josh Giddey Double Double/Oklahoma City to Win Jordan Poole Three-plus Threes/Golden State to Win
Welcome back to the longshot NBA performance doubles parlay. Only one of these has hit this year but at a lot fewer odds. I’m surprised and not surprised at how high this parlay is but if you don’t want to go for the homerun, my favorite three are Franz Wagner, James Harden, and Jordan Poole. Those three would be +1494 on FanDuel.
The Indiana Pacers are currently on a seven-game road losing streak and Orlando can easily give them their eighth. With Tyrese Haliburton being the difference-maker in the last two games for the Pacers, I’ll take the Magic with him out. Franz is averaging 3.5 assists per game this season and in the last two games against the Pacers, he finished with three assists in both games. He’s an integral part of this offense and over his last three games, he’s hit six-plus two out of three times.
Joel Embiid is currently doubtful with a foot injury for the Philadelphia 76ers. When he plays, James Harden feeds the ball to him for his double-double between points and assists. When Embiid is off the court, Harden has a greater opportunity at rebounds since Embiid is averaging just under ten rebounds a game. If I were to add a double-double parlay every day, Harden would always be in there. With Kevin Durant still out, I’m 100 percent on the 76ers.
Giannis is another player that I’d put in a double-double parlay every day, the “Greek Freak” of the NBA is a shoo-in for this stat. With fellow big man Nikola Jokic questionable for the Denver Nuggets, it would mean more rebounds for Giannis. There are plenty of boards for them both but with a possible rest day, I’m taking Giannis to get over ten points and over ten rebounds with ease. Jokic’s status is also affecting the line for tonight’s game and without him 100 percent, the Bucks should win.
Good ole Josh Giddey. He burned us last time by fouling out early but he was on pace and of course, the Thunder won that game. I like the Thunder at home against the Atlanta Hawks and the game should come down to the end. In early December, the Thunder edged the Hawks by seven. That was before Giddey Giddy’d up with his double-doubles. Over his last seven NBA games, he’s posted a double-double in four of them but had at least eight in the rebounds or assists column in the other three, so it was fairly close. Both NBA teams are around .500 this year and the Hawks struggle on the road.
The Golden State Warriors play the Memphis Grizzlies tonight in what should be an NBA thriller. Both teams are top three in pace of play and are averaging at least 117 points per game. The Warriors are first in three-point field goal percentage. Ever since Stephen Curry went out with a shoulder injury in December, Jordan Poole put the NBA on notice that he’s that guy that can easily fill in. Since Curry’s return, Poole is averaging 3.43 made three-pointers per game. He has also averaged just over eight attempts from beyond the arc. The last time these teams faced, the Warriors easily won by 14 without Curry.
