Stadium Rant’s Best NBA Prop Bets 1-27-2023

Happy Friday! We are back with another NBA bets article for this short slate of games. There are five games on tonight and three NBA best bets. Yesterday, January 26, our article only went 2-1. Bojan Bogdanovic and the Detroit Pistons somehow pulled out a win and Bogdanovic only shot 26 percent on the night for 11 of the 21.5 points needed.

The top NBA player prop cashed with ease as Jayson Tatum scored 35 points, five over his line. Chris Paul snuck a late assist in to help us cash his line of over 9.5 assists. Over the last three articles, we have gone 7-1, not bad if you like money! Klay Thompson Over 21.5 Points -115

Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors will host the Toronto Raptors in the NBA primetime slot tonight. Both teams are on winning streaks but Thompson and the Warriors play light’s out at Chase Center. Klay has hit this over in eight of the last ten games. Klay’s game is from beyond the arc which is where the Raptors are awful at defending. They are third-worst at 37.4 percent.

In the 32.2 minutes that Klay is averaging per game, he is shooting .392 from beyond the arc and 20.7 points per game. Over his last five games, he is averaging 8.6 three-point attempts and making 3.8 of them. The two outliers are on January 22nd against the Brooklyn Nets when he went zero for seven and on January 15th against the Chicago Bulls when he made eight out of 15 three-pointers.

Draymond Green Over 23.5 Points+Rebounds+Assists -125

Another prop for the Warriors at home is for Draymond Green to hit his over on PRA tonight. Green isn’t a high-scoring player, he gets his stats via rebounds and assists usually. On the year he is averaging just under this total. The averages are eight points per game, 6.8 assists per game, and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Over his last five games, he has hit over 23.5 in four of the five. The last four have been at least 27 PRA. I feel confident that he can hit this with ease against a Raptors team that is tied for 21st in rebounds at 42.5. The Warriors are tied for 11th in rebounds at 44.1 and first in assists at 29.3. Plenty of action is available for Draymond.

Ja Morant Over 8.5 Assists -115

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies travel to Minnesota to play the Timberwolves. This should be a tight game between two of the five fastest squads in the NBA. Both teams are shooting at least 47 percent field goals on the season. Between quick play and quality shots, there are plenty of opportunities for passes. Memphis averages 25.4 assists per game but with the pace at which these two teams play, that number should rise tonight.

Ja is averaging eight assists per game this NBA season, right in the ballpark of his line tonight. Before his last game against the Warriors when he had 12, Ja had three straight games at eight assists. He continues to hover right below and above this line. Due to this, there is some caution and to be safe you can take an alternate line of eight plus to be safe but I’m confident that Morant achieves a double-double tonight between points and assists.

NBA Player Performance Doubles Parlay +1104

Giannis Antetokoummpo Double Double/Milwaukee to Win Ja Morant Double Double/Memphis to Win Draymond Green Ten-plus Rebounds/Golden State to Win

The first leg in this NBA performance parlay is Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks. These two NBA teams just faced on January 16th and the Bucks beat the Indiana Pacers by 13 points. A fun fact on that game was that Giannis didn’t play and even though he still has a questionable tag with his knee injury, he should be good to go tonight. He has hit at least a double-double in eight of his last ten games with a current streak of four games straight. Giannis is averaging 31 points per game and 12 rebounds per game.

Ja Morant was one of the NBA’s best bets tonight and I am doubling down. His prop is over 8.5 assists and I’m confident that he can get at least ten in this fast pace showdown with the Timberwolves. Ja likes to show up with his dunks and awkward-looking shots but he’s also really good at moving the ball to his teammates. He just had 12 assists in the loss to the Warriors two days ago, that momentum should carry into the game tonight.

Memphis will look to snap their four-game losing streak tonight. Rudy Gobert has already played twice this week with a groin injury so a rest day might happen for the Minnesota center. Memphis will be without their starting center, Steven Adams. This game can quickly turn into a high-scoring game without the starting two bigs in the game. Even if Gobert plays, my play and analysis stand.

The last leg is for Draymond Green to have ten-plus rebounds with a Golden State win. The Warriors are currently 5.5 favorites against the Toronto Raptors and just under a month ago these two teams played. The Warriors swept the floor with a 16-point victory. The Warriors won that game without Stephen Curry. The Warriors are first in pace of play and first in three-point field goal attempts at 16.4. They make 37.8 percent of three-pointers.

Similar to Ja, Draymond Green was also included in my NBA best bets for the night. Draymond hitting ten-plus rebounds would greatly help his PRA line for tonight. He is averaging 7.3 rebounds per game this season. Over his last three games, he’s had a minimum of 11 rebounds. He goes through streaks where he gets around five rebounds or he goes double digits. His best outings are when he plays at home, which is where he will play tonight.
