Stadium Rant’s Best NBA Prop Bets 2-03-2023
Happy Friday NBA sports bettors! We’re back with some more NBA prop action. Yesterday’s article went 1-1 just like Wednesday night but we also hit our same-game parlay once again thanks to Ja Morant. Last night it was a +120 same-game parlay. Ja Morant failed his prop bet of over 8.5 assists because he ended at eight but that was just over 7.5 for the parlay. Our other best bet was cashed with ease. Brandon Ingram put up seven assists, his line was set at 4.5.
The other side of the NBA same-game parlay was Darius Garland. He smashed both of his alternate lines, the only sweat was Ja’s last assist. Darius put up 32 points and 11 rebounds. Doubled his lines for the night. Tonight we will continue the two best bets and the same-game parlay in hopes that we can sweep the card going into the weekend! Trae Young Over 9.5 Assists -135
Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks will square off against the Utah Jazz at the Vivint arena. The current odds are almost even so this should be a close game from start to finish. Whenever you can get Trae’s line under ten assists, go for it. Over his last seven games, he has only fallen short once. In his last five games, he is averaging 11.6 assists per game. He only played 27 minutes in his last game against the Phoenix Suns and was still able to compile 12 assists.
On the year, Trae is averaging 35.5 minutes per game and 9.9 assists per game. Both of these teams are similar in pace of play and both know how to move the ball around. Two strong offenses and two weak defenses. With a total currently listed at 241.5 total points, this should be a shootout. Expect both squads to post more assists than their NBA average on the year.
Damian Lillard Over 31.5 Points & Over 6.5 Assists -110
Damian Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers will be away underdogs to the Washington Wizards tonight. This is another game with the potential for a lot of points and with points comes assists. Portland is averaging 24.2 assists per game and 7.4 of them are from Damian. In addition to his 7.4 assists on the year, he is averaging 36 minutes per game, so he is out on the court a lot.
Originally, I was just going to go with his line of 7.5 assists on the night but the risk was too high. Instead, we will add his over on points and one less on the assists line. Damian is all over the stat sheet with assists. In one game he’ll get three and the next he’ll get 12. Two days ago against the Memphis Grizzlies, a fast-paced team, he had 42 points and ten assists. I don’t expect ten assists but eight seems fair from him. Over his previous five games, he is averaging 42.2 points per game, ten more than his points line for tonight.
NBA Same-Game Parlay +140

The NBA same-game parlay for tonight is between the Atlanta Hawks and the Utah Jazz. The two assists leaders for each team along with their lowest points line. Trae Young, as already mentioned above in our NBA best bets section, will lead off this parlay. Trae has been averaging 27 points per game and 9.9 assists per game this season. His points line scared me so I went with 20-plus since he just put up 20 against the Suns on Wednesday. His assists on the other hand have been through the roof and 7.5 should be easily obtainable. There’s a chance he cashes this leg at halftime.
For the Utah Jazz, I picked Mike Conley. Conley isn’t a big-time scorer but he knows how to move the ball. Conley is averaging 29.6 minutes per game, 10.5 points per game, and 7.6 points per game. Two days ago against the Toronto Raptors, he put up 19 points and eight assists. I’m banking on his stellar shooting again tonight. Due to a few bad beats, his points average doesn’t do him justice and he should get around 14 points and nine assists tonight. In eight of the last ten games, he has hit over 5.5 assists.
