Taysom Hill Is The Definition Of Fantasy Boom Or Bust

Taysom Hill has always been an intriguing fantasy player due to his versatility. He has proven throughout his career that he can play at almost all positions on the offensive side of the ball. Hill is listed as a TE and QB, where he primarily lines up on the field. Although he had 33 receptions last year, most of his points come from him playing in the Wildcat QB position.

He can pass the ball and has even been the Saints' starting quarterback in the past, but he is more viable in the running game. In the 2023 season, Hill had 401 rushing yards on 81 attempts. He likely wouldn't get the chance to be the Saints' starting quarterback this year if Carr were to be injured, as the team added rookie Spencer Rattler.

His versatility gives him a very high ceiling, but he also has one of the lowest floors at the position. His production entirely depends on the game plan and provides no consistency. He is a solid backup TE this season, but you shouldn't be shocked if you start him and he has an awful day of production. He is one of the faces in the league that defines high risk and high reward.

Our consensus projections for in the 2024 season are 21 receptions, 191 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
