Tee Higgins Looks Like He Wants To Play For The Cleveland Browns
Last week, Cleveland Browns' starting quarterback Deshaun Watson was on his podcast and stated that he would love to see the Browns sign Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.
On Tuesday afternoon, Higgins started to play into that narrative and decided he wanted to follow a handful of Cleveland Browns players on Instagram. He followed guys like Watson, Elijah Moore, Grant Delpit, and Jedrick Wills.
We usually see this at the college level. When a player hits the transfer portal, he starts to follow players at the school he's about to transfer to, but the NFL is very different.
Higgins is a free agent this offseason, but the Bengals still can franchise tag him and not let him hit the free agent market.
There is a good chance Higgins will not be a free agent so that he won't be coming to the Browns, but Higgins could be mad at the Bengals since they never got a contract done with him, and maybe he's trying to scare the organization.
I don't see Higgins ever playing for the Browns, or at least in 2024, but Higgins makes the week before the Super Bowl very interesting.
