The Florida Gators Just Got A Massive SEC Win
The Florida Gators entered Wednesday night's action on a three-game winning streak, with victories over Missouri, Mississippi State and Georgia.
Florida was a seven-and-a-half-point underdog against the Kentucky Wildcats and had not won a single quad-one game this year. Not only did the Gators cover, they walked out of Rupp Arena with a massive conference win.

A Fun Back-And-Forth Game
The crowd energy in Lexington was phenomenal, and the action on the court did not disappoint. Kentucky had a chance to close the game out late in the fourth quarter. In fact they had an 91.7% win probability with 22 seconds remaining, per ESPN. But the Gators had other ideas.
Walter Clayton Jr. hit a massive three-point shot with five seconds remaining to tie the game at 84. Florida held Kentucky to only seven points in overtime, escaping with a 94 to 91 victory.
Clayton Jr. led the way for Florida with 23 points, with Tyrese Samuel scoring 22 and Zyon Pullin adding 21. Samuel also recorded 13 rebounds, a category which the Gators were slightly better at than the Wildcats.
A Look At The Upcoming Gators Schedule
Florida is trying to build their resume and hadn't been able to beat any of the ranked opponents on their schedule until Wednesday night. The Gator's schedule is not going to get any easier. Next up for the team? A visit to Texas A&M Saturday afternoon. The Aggies haven't played since January 27th -- a 71-68 loss against Ole Miss.
After that, the Gators will host the 16th-ranked Auburn Tigers. Auburn had won 11 straight before falling in their last two outings. Following the Auburn game, Florida will have two more games against a ranked opponent -- a home-and-home series against 24th-ranked Alabama.
The Tide had a scare against the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday night but ended up winning 85-76 and continue to sit comfortably at the top of the SEC standings.
