The NCAA Gave Michigan A Laughable Punishment

Harbaugh lied to the investigators during a meeting, and that is a Level 1 violation according to the NCAA.

Harbaugh and Michigan have not had a great track record off the field over the past year with letting a player play with a felony gun charge, an assistant coach illegally accessing computer accounts at the school, recruiting violations, hiring Bo Schembechler's son who has said horrible things about people and then later resigned.

Harbaugh Got Off Easy

It's about time Harbaugh got caught, and let's be honest what does a four-game suspension really do for him? He is set to miss games against East Carolina, UNLV, Bowling Green, and Rutgers.

Michigan has the easiest conference schedule you will ever see so missing three games against cupcakes does nothing, and playing the worst Big Ten team ever created in Rutgers is not that big of a deal.

If you want to send a message you have to suspend him for games that matter like against Penn State, Michigan State, and Ohio State.

Harbaugh is going to have a four-week vacation, and his team is going to be 4-0 and win every single game by 40 points.

They should just suspend him for the season at this point and the NCAA should set an example.

I think being dishonest with NCAA people about violations that you have committed should be a little bit more than a four-game suspension against teams who might not win a combined six games between them.

Was Harbaugh's Suspension Fair?
