The Next Generation Of Major League Baseball Players Will Struggle In Their Careers

The next generation of MLB baseball players is already taking the spots of legendary stars like Albert Pujols and Willy Mays. The older baseball players are refusing to give advice to the next generation to improve their performance in the field, which will significantly impact their entire careers. Some legendary coaches like Wayne Graham and Marc Johnson retired and are in the process of being replaced by younger coaches with less knowledge and experience.

A Generation Of Unprepared Baseball Players

The new generation of MLB players isn't able to market themselves the same way older baseball players were. Younger baseball players like Alex Bregman are marketing themselves on social media and podcasts to build a strong connection with their fans. The next wave of MLB stars has to work a lot harder to build their fanbase than older baseball players.

Younger baseball players are gaining recognition faster than older players, but they are also pissing off their fans and ruining their reputations early in their careers. Ronald José Acuña Blanco Jr. is one of the youngest baseball players in history. Acuña has been benched and scolded by his coach since his rise to fame. Whether Acuña is wearing his gear wrong or getting into a fight with his teammates, he is always getting in trouble for something.

The next generation of MLB players is going to have a hard time because their predecessors refuse to give them any tips to help them get better. Even though the new generation is exposing themselves more to the media, it's going to be a lot harder for them to build their reputations.

The Rapid Replacement Of Baseball Coaches

New managers already represent each team and aren't the best at their jobs. So far, three managers have been fired in the past several weeks, and it's expected that more will follow soon.

Bryan Snitker has been the manager of the Atlanta Braves. He plans to resign after his contract expires in 2025. Snitker has received backlash from fans because of the inconsistent wins the Braves have had since he became their manager.

Pedro Grifol was fired from the Chicago White Sox on August 8, 2024, because his team was on a 21-year losing streak. Grifol didn't put in much time or effort to help the White Sox get better, and he was replaced by Grady Sizemore, a retired MLB star. Sizemore doesn't have any experience as an MLB coach, and he was hired when the season was halfway over.

Older coaches are leaving their positions and being replaced by younger coaches. The next generation of coaches has a lot to learn because they are starting their careers with little experience.

The Decline Of Major League Baseball

The MLB has been experiencing a rapid decline in attendance and ratings over the years. Some fans would rather see the scores from their phones than watch a baseball game for two hours because their attention span has decreased due to overstimulation. People who have grown up playing video games and spending their time on social media claim that baseball is too slow-paced. The price of a baseball ticket has gone up because of inflation, which is making fewer people want to attend a game.

The new generation of MLB players will have a harder time being successful because fewer people are watching baseball.
