These 5 Players Will Score A Touchdown In Vikings Vs. Giants

Week One of the 2024 NFL season is here! After months of speculation, it's time to play meaningful football. The Minnesota Vikings open the season on the road against the New York Giants on Sunday.

Minnesota is 18-13 all-time against the Giants but lost the most recent meeting 31-24 in the 2023 playoffs. The Vikings are one-point favorites in this weekend's game, and the total is 41.5.

Which Vikings and Giants players will find the endzone on opening weekend? Here are five players with the best odds to score a touchdown during the game.

5) Daniel Jones +187

5) Daniel Jones +187

This is a prove-it year for Daniel Jones and the New York Giants offense, which had the fourth-fewest yards per game last year. Jones has had 13 rushing touchdowns throughout his five-year NFL career, and his average is just below 32 yards per game. The former sixth-overall pick will look to prove people wrong in Week One and has the fifth-best odds of finding the endzone.

4) Malik Nabers +162

4) Malik Nabers +162

Nabers is an intriguing player entering his rookie season. The LSU star caught 89 passes for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns in his final season with the Tigers. In a lackluster wide receiver room, Nabers will become Daniel Jones's first option in the passing game. Don't be surprised if the two connect for a long touchdown in Week One.

3) Devin Singletary +150

3) Devin Singletary +150

Saquon Barkley is gone, yet the New York Giants still need to run the ball. Devin Singletary may not be as flashy as Barkley, but he'll get the job done. Although the 26-year-old has never rushed for 1,000 yards in a single season, this year may be his best chance. Singletary will want to make a good impression in his first game as a Giant, and that could mean walking into the endzone for six.

2) Justin Jefferson +140

2) Justin Jefferson +140

Justin Jefferson didn't play in any of the Vikings' preseason action, preparing for a long and grueling NFL regular season. Jefferson is the most talented player on Minnesota's roster and will get much attention from opposing defenses. Facing an opponent's best defender is nothing new for the former LSU Tiger, and it hasn't slowed down his production. With +140 odds, Jefferson is tied for the odds-on favorite to score a touchdown in the Vikings opening game.

1) Aaron Jones +140

1) Aaron Jones +140

Vikings fans are hopeful that Aaron Jones can help turn around a rushing attack that has struggled since the departure of four-time Pro Bowler Dalvin Cook. Minnesota has learned firsthand how well Jones can run the ball, as he has run for 847 yards and five touchdowns in 11 games against the Vikings. Jones has +140 odds to score six at MetLife Stadium in Week One.
