These Three NASCAR Drivers Are The Favorites To Win The Coca-Cola 600
This weekend is a big one for racing fans around the world. We get to enjoy the Monaco GP, followed by the Indianapolis 500, and then finish the night watching one of the most popular NASCAR races in the Coca-Cola 600.
So, who could find victory lane in Charlotte this Sunday? Here are the three drivers with the best odds of crossing the finish line first.
3) Tyler Reddick +800
Reddick is sixth in the NASCAR standings entering this weekend with 396 points. The California native has seven top-ten finishes, four top-five finishes, and one win through 13 races this season. The lone win came at Talladega on April 21st.
Reddick placed second at Charlotte in 2021 when NASCAR ran it as a roval. He placed fifth in the Coca-Cola 600 last season. At +800, the 28-year-old has the third-highest odds of grabbing the checkered flag Sunday evening.
2) Denny Hamlin +600
The 11-car is coming off a second-place finish in the All-Star race at North Wilkesboro last weekend, falling just short of winner Joey Logano. Hamlin currently sits third in the NASCAR Cup Series standings with 447 points, including 110 stage points. He's also got six top-ten finishes, five top-five finishes, and three race victories.
Hamlin has had great success at Charlotte Motor Speedway, finishing in the top ten in three of his last four outings at this track. He finished 35th in this race last year, only running 185 laps due to a spinout.
The veteran driver has the second-best odds to win his fourth race of the year this weekend.
1) Kyle Larson +425
Not only is Kyle Larson running both the Indy 500 and the Coca-Cola 600, but he's the odds-on favorite to win the second of the two races. Larson leads the Cup Series with 486 points. His seven-stage wins are also the most by any driver in the series.
Larson will have a long day on Sunday, but he's one of the best race car drivers in the world, so don't be surprised if he runs strong at the Indy 500, then turns around and wins at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
