This Guy Should Be The Seahawks Next Coach
The Seattle Seahawks made a shocking move when it announced that longtime head coach Pete Carroll had been moved to the team's senior advisor and would no longer be coaching the team, leading to the team's first head coaching search since 2010. While it will be very hard to replace the coaching legend, there are many options on the market. One fan-favorite that should make a comeback is Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
Dan Quinn Has Plenty Of Experience With Seahawks
Dan Quinn was the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks in 2013 where his defense aka the Legion of Boom led the team to two straight Super Bowl trips as well as a victory against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, where his defense held the high-powered offense to eight points.
He was later hired to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons where the team had one of the better defenses in the league. The Falcons went to the Super Bowl in 2017 where they infamously lost to the Patriots. The team struggled to make it back in the years after as Quinn was fired in 2020.
Quinn was then hired by the Dallas Cowboys where he turned around one of the worst defenses in the NFL. He was named NFL's 2021 Assistant Coach of the Year and has been a hot name on the market ever sense. With the Seattle Seahawks having a young and talented defense, Quinn could help take the team to new heights and recreate the Legion of Boom. With familiarity, a fan-favorite, a defensive mastermind, and plenty of experience, Dan Quinn should be the next head coach of the Seattle Seahawks.
