This NFL Player Will Bounce Back In 2024

Kyler Murray was drafted first overall in the 2019 NFL Draft and was hoped to be the face of the Arizona Cardinals. He’s arguably the team's most promising quarterback since Kurt Warner. While Murray has had plenty of lows in his short career, he's also had some highs, and he's about to reach a new high.

Murray hasn’t played a full NFL season since 2020, but he did play 14 games in 2021. That season the Cardinals went 11-6 and scored their first playoff berth in 6 years. Murray had an incredible year, throwing for 3,787 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He also rushed for 423 yards and 5 touchdowns. He tore his ACL in November 2022. It shortened his 2023 season, where he didn't start until week 10.

Murray is extremely talented when he’s healthy, and it’s been too long since he’s been able to show it. Expectations are low for Kyler in 2024, but this is his first healthy offseason in 2 years. He has a real opportunity to mesh with his new targets, 4th overall pick Marvin Harrison Jr. and free agent pickup Zay Jones. This is also his first season starting under 2nd year head coach Johnathon Gannon.

The Arizona Cardinals are in a great spot with their roster, and Kyler Murray will return to form this year. The team might not be true playoff contenders in 2024, but they’ll pull themselves out of the 4-13 hole they’ve been in.
