This NFL Team Is A LOCK To Win Week 3
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the hottest teams in the NFL. After putting up 37 points on the Commanders in Week 1, and winning a close battle against Detroit, the Buccaneers will now host the Denver Broncos. This will be the second time this season the Bucs will play a rookie quarterback.
Buccaneers Offense Will Play Big Role In Win
Tampa Bay’s offense is a big reason why they will win. Quarterback Baker Mayfield has played at a high level so far, throwing for 474 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in two contests. He’s had help from receiver Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, who has nearly 200 receiving yards in two games.
The Bucs Rushing Game Has A Chance To Improve
One thing that has held the Bucs back is their rushing game. Neither running back has crossed 100 yards yet or rushed for a touchdown. The good news is they will go up against a Broncos defense that allows 143 rushing yards per game.
Denver’s Offense Has Struggled
Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has yet to throw a touchdown pass this season, yet he has thrown four picks. His offense has averaged 13 points per game while the team’s running game has struggled. Last week, Tampa’s defense picked off Jared Goff two times and could have a similar result this week.
Conclusion
Even if Denver holds Tampa Bay under 24 points, that might not be enough to win. This game will be closer than expected, but the Buccaneers should easily start 3-0. Baker Mayfield and company should take care of business at home.
