This Texans Player Is Heading To The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
Following a fantastic rookie season, quarterback C.J. Stroud is heading to NBA All-Star weekend later this month. Stroud will take part in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on February 16th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

NBA Celebrity All-Star Game
Stroud will be on the team coached by ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith. Other celebrities on the team include Jennifer Hudson, Tristan Jass, Jack Ryan, Metta World Peace, AJ McLean, Kwame Onwuachi, Natasha Cloud, Adam Blackstone, and Gianmarco Tamberi. A'ja Wilson and Lil Wayne will also act as coaches.
Shannon Sharpe, Peyton Manning, and 50 Cent will lead the opposing All-Star celebrity team, which includes Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons.
The NBA has also announced they'll be unveiling a new 'state-of-the-art' LED court during All-Star weekend. This court can display live stats, video replays and more.
Stroud's Great Rookie Season With The Texans
C.J. Stroud quickly stole the attention of NFL fans this season. The 22-year-old completed 63.9% of his passes for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns and five interceptions.
His performance earned him the PFWA Rookie of the Year Award and the PFWA Offensive Rookie of the Year honor. Stroud was also named to the NFL Pro Bowl, which was held earlier this month in Orlando.
Stroud will return to Lucas Oil Stadium for the NBA All-Star game. It's the same stadium Stroud led the Texans to a 23-19 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in January. Stroud threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns in that game.
