Three New York Rangers Who Stood Out In Game Four Against Carolina
Aw Mann, I wanted another Kenny Omega-style to sweep in the playoffs. Oh well, you can't win them all, and the Rangers felt that as they lost their latest game to the Carolina Hurricanes 4-3. While the Rangers lost this game, they still led the series three games to one, and multiple players stood out in this matchup for the Blueshirts.
3. Where Was This Barclay Goodrow In The Regular Season?
Barclay Goodrow was one of the Rangers' low points in the regular season. He has had multiple bad performances and looked cooked throughout the season—probably more cooked than Blake Wheeler has been this season.
In the playoffs, though, Goodrow has looked solid. He even scored a goal in this game, which made me wonder where the hell this has been. I want to see more of this, and hopefully, Goodrow can keep it up. Especially as he has been a buyout candidate through the season, and those talks can end if he keeps standing out.
2. Will Cuylle Breaks His Point Drought
Cuylle has mainly had a quieter playoff performance. Cuylle was primarily a more physical player, but he showcased his offensive skills. He scored a crucial goal when the Rangers were down 2-0 in the first period, which helped lead to the Rangers eventually returning and tying the game.
Fun fact: With his scoring, Cuylle snapped a 12-game point drought. Hopefully, he does not have that big of a point drought for the rest of the playoffs.

Man, Alexis Lafreniere always impresses and gets better every game that keeps happening this year. Tonight, once again, it was added to that list as Lafreniere put this team in a good spot, scoring the goal that helped tie the game. While the Rangers lost, putting the team in the right place will always get you on a standout list, and Lafreniere did that.
