Three NFL Players Who Could Have Big Games In Week Three

The NFL season is in full swing as Week 3 is already here. But some players like rookie sensation Puka Nacua, and Packers quarterback Jordan Love are already having great and surprising starts to the season, while others like Steelers running back Najee Harris, and Browns quarterback DeShaun Watson are struggling to start 2023. So which players could end their struggles and have a big week? Here are three players who should comeback and have big games in Week 3.

Josh Jacobs

After leading the NFL in rushing yards last season, it has been a rough start for the reigning rushing king. Jacobs had a week to forget against the Bills in Week 2 as he had -2 rushing yards the ENTIRE game on nine carries. While he did have 51 yards on five catches, it was not a fun game for the 25-year-old.

Now Jacobs and the Raiders will host the Pittsburgh Steelers, who allowed 198 rushing yards to the Browns last week. After Nick Chubb's injury, backup running back Jerome Ford had a huge game rushing for over 100 yards. It is a great opportunity for Jacobs to get his first 100 yard rushing game of 2023.

Bryce Young

Bryce Young hasn't lived up to expectations yet since being drafted first overall last spring. The 0-2 Panthers are in Seattle for a tough road matchup versus a really good Seahawks defense. Young hasn't looked great so far, but eventually he should get into rhythm.

Young faces the same Seahawks defense that allowed Jared Goff to throw for 323 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The week before that, Matthew Stafford threw for 334 yards and he didn't even have Cooper Kupp to throw too. The Seahawks are favored in this game, but the Panthers could upset and the key to that happening is if Young has a big day on the road.

Ja'Marr Chase

It has not been a great start for the 0-2 Cincinnati Bengals, who have struggled on offense and might not even have Joe Burrow this week versus the Rams. Chase has only 70 receiving yards on 10 catches as Burrow barely has 300 passing yards on the year so far. Whether Burrow plays or not, it should be a bounce-back game for Chase, who will be the X-Factor on offense versus the Rams.

Chase said this week he wants the team to take more deep shots, and with Burrow it is likely he will get a couple deep balls thrown his way. But if it is Jake Browning under center, Chase might get more short and slant passes to try to gain yards upfield. If you have Chase in fantasy, he is still a must-start despite the struggles.
