After backing off his commitment to the Auburn Tigers in May, three-star tight end Hollis Davidson from Peachtree City, Georgia, is back in the fold for the program's 2025 class.

As more programs started to get involved in his recruitment, he decided to de-commit to make the best decision for himself and his family.

While uncommitted, Davidson showed interest in programs like Florida State, Florida, LSU, and Texas. He reduced his list to Florida State and Auburn, with the Tigers earning his commitment on July 4th. He's Auburn's 15th commit, moving the Tigers' class from No. 13 to No. 12 per 247Sports, joining three-star tight end Ryan Ghea as the second tight end.

Davidson stands at 6 foot 5 and 238 pounds, is the No. 23 TE, the No. 48 recruit in the state of GA, and the No. 421 nationally ranked recruit, according to 247Sport's Composite Rankings.

During his junior season, he was a hybrid tight end lining up more in the slot rather than a traditional in line tight end bringing 30 passes for 436 yards and three touchdowns for the Chiefs.
