Title Rematch Set For Summer Slam.

This past Monday on Raw, Rhea Ripley officially challenged Liv Morgan to a rematch for the WWE Women's World Championship. Fans have been engaged in this storyline every single week. Even while Rhea was absent from the show healing an injury, people were still locked in watching, wondering when the Eradicator would return for her revenge on Morgan.

The transformation of Liv Morgan's character has taken this story to another level. Before Ripley injured her over a year ago, Morgan had started to take a dark character turn, as she had shaped this crazy, devil-may-care archetype. This version of Liv began throwing herself through tables, getting disqualified from matches, and showing a new edge to the character.

Finishing off our love triangle is one of the most hated men in all of WWE right now, Dirty Dom Mysterio. Since turning heel at Clash at the Castle 2022, he has been one of the most notable superstars on the roster. He isn't necessarily winning championships or matches most of the time, but he has gained legitimate heat and makes sure no matter what, fans are talking about him every week.

The stage has been set for a face-off between the two women. This is not a match for the love of Dirty Dom but for the Women's World Championship. This is set to be a match for the ages. The in-ring competition is expected to be top-notch between two competitors, but the story told during the match is what will be remembered.

Shake's Take:

Dare I say show stealer? This match has all the makings of an all-time Summer Slam moment. If any superstars know how to make waves, and headlines in WWE it is these three. Almost every headline published about Monday Night Raw is about one or more of these superstars. I would expect to see some heavy interference out of Mysterio. The question is, will his actions help Rhea Ripley or Liv Morgan? Over the past few months, Dom's intentions weren't to help Morgan, yet she stands as the Women's World Champion.
