Travis Kelce Throws Football During Chiefs Training Camp
NFL training camps are in full swing, including in Kansas City where the defending Super Bowl Champion Chiefs hope these late July practices are the foundation for another memorable season.
The Chiefs reported to camp on Sunday and went right back to work on Monday.
Here are some video highlights from the second day of Chiefs training camp, including tight end Travis Kelce throwing the football.
Mahomes Forming Connection With Rookie RB
One video posted to the Chiefs' social media accounts shows quarterback Patrick Mahomes connecting with rookie running back Deneric Prince.
Another video posted by 810 WHB shows Mahomes again throwing in the direction of Prince.
Prince rushed for 729 yards in his final college season with Tulsa. He added another 84 yards through the air.
Kansas City signed the 23-year-old as an undrafted free agent earlier this year.
Chiefs Second-Year Safety Makes PBU
Safety Nazeeh Johnson didn't play a single defensive snap during his rookie season in K.C. However, the former seventh-round draft pick made one of the better plays during Monday's practice.
Johnson recorded eight total tackles playing only 96 snaps on special teams.
What Can't Travis Kelce Do?
Travis Kelce is one of the best tight ends in NFL history. He has made eight Pro Bowls and four All-Pro teams and is a two-time Super Bowl Champion.
The ten-year NFL veteran even has a passing touchdown to his name, coming off a trick play in January 2022.
Kelce was shown throwing the football in a short video on Monday with the caption "There's a new QB on the scene..."
