Tyreek Hill Still Is The Most Explosive Player In Fantasy
Hill is coming off his best fantasy season this year, which he did while missing one full game and playing under 60% of snaps in five games. In each of his past two seasons with the Dolphins, Hill has had at least 170 targets, 119 receptions, and 1,700 receiving yards. He is the engine that makes this offense run and will have heavy usage again in 2024.
The Dolphins targeted their Wide Receivers at the third-highest rate last year, giving them 67.8% of their offensive targets. The previous two seasons, the Dolphins have targeted their Tight Ends at the lowest rate in the league. Head Coach Mike McDaniel has shown that he knows how to get his best weapons into open space and will lean on them to move the ball.
Hill had the second-highest team target share in the NFL, with 31.1% of his team targets. This could slightly drop with two new additions to the Dolphins Wide Receiver room. They added WR Malik Washington in the 6th round of the NFL draft and Odell Beckham Jr. through Free Agency. DraftSharks.com gave Tyreek a chance of injury in 2024 at 91% (min of two quarters missed).
However, they gave him a durability score of five out of five. Hill is a tough player and plays through minor injuries. He has never missed more than four games in a season, so injury should not factor into your decision to draft Hill this season. With his current ADP sitting at 3.3 in ½ PPR formats (via FantasyPros), managers will have to make a tough decision between Tyreek Hill, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Breece Hall at the top of Redraft leagues in 2024.
Our consensus projections for Hill in the 2024 season would be: 123 receptions, 1744 yards, 10 touchdowns through the air and 8 carries for 78 yards and 1 rushing touchdown.
