10. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Last Week: Unranked

After a rocky start for the rookie quarterback, Caleb Williams has settled in the last few games. In London, the 2024 first-overall pick found a spark with tight end Cole Kmet as the pair hooked up for two touchdowns. Williams also threw two touchdowns to veteran receiver Keenan Allen, who made his first endzone trips of the season.

Caleb finished with 226 yards on 23-29 throwing, four touchdowns, one interception, and a 124.4 rating. He was also effective with his legs, racking up 56 yards on the ground.

2024 Stats: 4-2 record, 65 completion percentage, 1,486 yards, nine touchdowns, five interceptions, and an 88.7 rating.

9. Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

Last Week: Unranked

The 49ers end a two-game losing skid with a 36-24 road win over the Seahawks. Brock Purdy had a big night with 255 yards on 18-28 throwing, three touchdowns, and a 129.3 rating. He also contributed with 19 rushing yards on four carries.

Purdy found Deebo Samuel on a 76-yard catch and run for the game's first score. He also connected his tight end, George Kittle, for not one, but two touchdowns. With Purdy's receivers being back to full health, the third-year QB may see his production skyrocket, as well as his spot on the quarterback power rankings.

2024 Stats: 3-3 record, 65 completion percentage, 1,756 yards, nine touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 100.5 rating.

8. Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Last Week: 8th

The Bucs obliterated the Saints 51-27 behind a four-touchdown outing from Baker Mayfield. On top of his four touchdowns, the 29-year-old QB converted 67% of his passes for 325 yards, three interceptions, and a 97.6 rating. Mayfield also ran for 29 yards on three carries.

A strong run game opened up an effective play action, which resulted in a 55-yard touchdown catch for Chris Godwin. Baker and Godwin combined for 125 yards on 11 catches and two scores. The pair has five touchdowns on the season and is making a case for the league's best QB-WR duo.

2024 Stats: 4-2 record, 71 completion percentage, 1,625 yards, 17 touchdowns, five interceptions, and a 109.4 rating.

7. CJ Stroud, Houston Texans

Last Week: 6th

The Texans ruin Drake Maye’s first career start as Houston blows out the Patriots 41-21. CJ Stroud fared well despite not having his top wide receiver, Nico Collins.

He didn't spread the ball out much, only throwing to five different receivers, but he was still effective. Stefon Diggs, Tank Dell, and Joe Mixon all stepped up in the passing game, combining for 164 yards and three scores. On 31 attempts, Stroud completed 20 balls for 192 yards, three touchdowns, one interception, and a 100.5 rating.

2024 Stats: 5-1 record, 68 completion percentage, 1,652 yards, 10 touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 98.6 rating.

6. Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Last Week: Unranked

The Detroit Lions dominated the Dallas Cowboys 47-9 to move to 4-1 on the season. Jared Goff led the way with 18-25 throwing, 315 yards, three touchdowns, and a 153.8 rating. He connected with his three main targets for scores, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, and Jameson Williams. The Lions were full of chunk plays, as Goff averaged 17.5 yards per completion.

This marks the second straight game in which Goff has been near-perfect in his execution. In Week 4, he set an NFL record of 18-18 throwing with a 155.8 rating. He shined again versus the Cowboys with another week-leading passer rating.

2024 Stats: 4-1 record, 71 completion percentage, 1,351 yards, eight touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 105.3 rating.

5. Geno Smith, Seattle Seahawks

Last Week: 3rd

The Seahawks dropped their third straight game after being defeated by their division rival, San Francisco, on Thursday. In the loss, Geno Smith racked up 312 yards on 30-52 throwing, one touchdown, two interceptions, and a 65.5 rating.

The 49ers made it hard for Smith to complete any big plays, as he only had two completions over 19 yards. He was forced into a lot of check-downs, especially to running back Kenneth Walker, who caught eight passes for 37 yards. One big play Smith completed was a 52-yard bomb to DK Metcalf that was called back for an illegal shift.

2024 Stats: 3-3 record, 69 completion percentage, 1,924 yards, seven touchdowns, six interceptions, and an 87.0 rating.

4. Sam Darnold, Minnesota Vikings

Week 6: Bye Week

2024 Stats: 5-0 record, 64 completion percentage, 1,172 yards, 11 touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 103.4 rating.

3. Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals

Last Week: 4th

Joe Burrow and the Bengals got a much-needed win on primetime as they took down the Giants 17-7. Burrow showed off his wheels to open the game with a 47-yard touchdown run. He finished the game with 208 passing yards on 68% throwing with an 89.6 rating. He added eight more rushing yards throughout the game to finish with 55.

With the win, the Bengals move to 2-4 on the season. Despite the record, Burrow has played at an MVP-like level through the first third of the season. If Burrow keeps up his performance and Cincy starts piling on wins, number nine may take over the top spot sooner rather than later.

2024 Stats: 2-4 record, 72 completion percentage, 1,672 yards, 13 touchdowns, two interceptions, and a 110.3 rating.

2. Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders

Last Week: 2nd

Jayden Daniels had another solid performance in a 30-23 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He completed 24 of 35 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns to Terry McLaurin and had a 110.3 rating. The rookie from LSU also led the team in rushing with 22 yards on six attempts.

Daniels is making a strong case for two major offensive awards, MVP and Offensive Rookie of the Year. He is the odds-on favorite for OROY and is currently sixth in the MVP race. He has led the Commanders to a shocking 4-2 start and has them sitting atop the NFC East.

2024 Stats: 4-2 record, 75 completion percentage, 1,726 yards, 10 touchdowns, two interceptions, and a 107.1 rating.

1. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

After an 0-2 start, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens move to 4-2 on the season with a 30-23 win over the Washington Commanders. Jackson continued his MVP campaign with 323 passing yards on 20-26 throwing, one touchdown, one interception, and a 114.7 rating. He also tacked on 40 rushing yards on 11 carries.

Lamar Jackson has made the quarterback power rankings list every week of the season. He has been number one for back-to-back weeks and has made the Top 5 five out of six times.

2024 Stats: 4-2 record, 67 completion percentage, 1,932 yards, 12 touchdowns, two interceptions, and a 108.4 rating.
