Arkansas at #11 Alabama
Game Information:
Location: Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa
Channel: ESPN
Time: 11 AM
Arkansas vs Alabama Odds:
Spread: Alabama -19 (-110), Arkansas +19 (-110)
O/U: 46.5 (-110)
ML: Arkansas +750 and Alabama -1200
Season Performances:
Season Records: Arkansas (2-4), Alabama (5-1)
ATS: Arkansas (3-3), Alabama (4-2)
O/U: Arkansas (4-2), Alabama (4-2)
Home/Away: Arkansas (0-2 A), Alabama (2-1 H)
Team Streak: Arkansas (L4), Alabama (W4)
What To Bet And Why:
I'm not confident in picking a team to cover the three-score spread. Instead, we're going to focus on the O/U in this game.
Alabama and Arkansas have a combined O/U of 8-4 on the season. Alabama has hit the total game over in 8 of their last 13 games, and Arkansas has hit the game total over in 9 of their last 13 games.
Best Bet:
Over 46.5
#1 Georgia at Vanderbilt
Game Information:
Location: FirstBank Stadium, Nashville
Channel: CBS
Time: 11 AM
Georgia vs Vanderbilt Odds:
Spread: Georgia -31 (-110), Vanderbilt +31 (-110)
O/U: 56 (-110)
ML: N/A
Season Performances:
Season Records: Georgia (6-0), Vanderbilt (2-5)
ATS: Georgia (2-4), Vanderbilt (0-7)
O/U: Georgia (3-3), Vanderbilt (6-0-1)
Home/Away: Georgia (1-0A), Vanderbilt (2-2-0)
Team Streak: Georgia (W6), Vanderbilt (L5)
What To Bet And Why:
Georgia is going to win this game it's just a matter of how much. While Vanderbilt has an awful 0-7 record ATS, Georgia's ATS record of 2-4 ATS record isn't great either. For this reason, we aren't going to bet on the spread.
The play here in my mind is betting the over. In five of their last seven home games, Vanderbilt has hit the over. Vanderbilt has also hit the over in six of their games this season. Georgia has also hit the over in 9 of their 15 last games.
Best Bet:
O 56.0
Florida at South Carolina
Game Information:
Location: Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia
Channel: SEC Network
Time: 2:30 PM
Florida vs South Carolina Odds:
Spread: South Carolina -2 (-110), Florida +2 (-110)
O/U: 51.5
ML: South Carolina -130, Florida +110
Season Performances:
Season Records: South Carolina (2-3), Florida (4-2)
ATS: South Carolina (3-2), Florida (2-4)
O/U: South Carolina (3-2), Florida (2-3-1)
Home/Away: South Carolina (2-0 H), Florida (0-2 A)
Team Streak: South Carolina (L1), Florida (W1)
Who To Bet And Why:
South Carolina has been excellent at home SU and ATS.
In their two games at home, they've covered both games against Furman and Mississippi State. South Carolina was a -17.5-point favorite against Furman won by 26 and was a 6-point favorite against Mississippi State and won by seven.
On the other side, Florida has struggled on the road SU and ATS. Florida lost by thirteen to Utah in week one and lost to Kentucky as a one-point dog by 19.
I'm taking South Carolina to win and to cover. This is one of those games that you don't overthink and take the small favorite.
Best Bet:
South Carolina -2
Texas A&M at #19 Tennessee
Game Information:
Location: Neyland Stadium, Knoxville
Channel: CBS
Time: 2:30 PM
Texas A&M And Tennessee Odds:
Spread: Tennessee -3.5 (-110), Texas A&M +3.5 (+110)
O/U: 56
ML: Tennessee -170, Texas A&M +142
Season Performances:
Season Records: Tennessee (4-1), Texas A&M (4-2)
ATS: Tennessee (3-2), Texas A&M (4-2)
O/U: Tennessee (2-2-1), Texas A&M (4-2)
Home/Away: Tennessee (3-0), Texas A&M (0-1)
Team Streak: Tennessee (W2), Texas A&M (L1)
Who To Bet And Why:
There are two ways to attack this game. Betting the over and taking Tennessee and the points.
Let's look at the O/U. Texas A&M has hit the game total in 8 of their last 12 games. Tennessee has hit the game total in 6 of their last 8 home games.
Tennessee has also been terrific at home to bet on. They've covered five straight at home against FBS competition. They've also been undefeated at home in the past two seasons. Jimbo Fisher has also been bad in his last seven road games only covering one game ATS. I give full credit to Bruce Marshall for those stats.
Best Bet:
O 56
Auburn at #22 LSU
Game Information:
Location: Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge
Channel: ESPN
Time: 6:00 PM
Auburn And LSU Odds:
Spread: LSU -11 (-110), Auburn (-110)
O/U: 60 (-110)
ML: LSU -425, Auburn +335
Season Performances:
Season Records: LSU (4-2), Auburn (3-2)
ATS: LSU (3-3), Auburn (2-3)
O/U: LSU (6-0), Auburn (2-3)
Home/Away: LSU (2-0 H), Auburn (1-1 A)
Team Streak: LSU (W1), Auburn (L2)
What To Bet And Why:
11 points is a lot for a SEC West rivalry game. However, I do think LSU can cover that mark.
LSU has one of the best offenses in the country. They're 6th in scoring, 23rd in rushing yards per game, and 4th in passing yards per game.
The strength of this Auburn team is its defense. Even with the defense being Auburn's strength they can't rush four and get pressure. This gives the upper hand to Jayden Daniels who can get the ball out quickly to his playmakers - Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr.
Although LSU -11 is inciting the best play in this game is betting the over.
LSU has a perfect 6-0 record hitting the over this season and LSU has hit the game total over in 13 of their last 14 games. Auburn has also hit the game total over in 7 of their last 11 games.
Best Bet:
O 60
Missouri at #24 Kentucky
Game Information:
Location: Kroger Field, Kentucky
Channel: SEC Network
Time: 6:30 PM
Missouri And Kentucky Odds:
Spread: Kentucky -2.5 (-110), Missouri +2.5 (-110)
O/U: 52.5 (-110)
ML: Kentucky -135, Missouri +115
Season Performances:
Season Records: Kentucky (5-1), Missouri (5-1)
ATS: Kentucky (4-2), Missouri (3-3)
O/U: Kentucky (4-2), Missouri (5-1)
Home/Away: Kentucky (4-0), Missouri (1-0)
Team Streak: Kentucky (L1), Missouri (L1)
What To Bet And Why:
Kentucky has been excellent under Mark Stoops against Missouri. Stoops has a 7-3 record against Missouri and a 4-1 record at home vs the Tigers.
I don't see that changing here. I like Kentucky and the points.
Best Bet:
Kentucky -2.5
