Zay Jones: A Value For Fantasy Even If You Dont Want Him

Zay Jones came into last season with a ton of hype after having a career-high season. However, his last season was a tremendous flop due to the multiple injuries he had to his knee and hamstring.

Last season, Jones finished with 64 targets, 34 receptions, 321 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns. It was a disappointing season for Jones, and his time in Jacksonville was pretty much done when the team used a 1st round pick on Brian Thomas Jr.

In the offseason, Jones signed a one-year prove-it contract with the Arizona Cardinals. Excluding Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson, the Cardinals don't have much depth at wide receiver, but they do have other viable pass-catching options in Trey McBride and James Connor.

However, Jones is still an intriguing bounce-back option in fantasy. When Jones was healthy, he was decently productive. When he played 16 games in Jacksonville, he finished as WR26 in half-PPR. His health is key, but Jones is definitely a player you can consider drafting near the end of any fantasy draft.

Our consensus projections for Jones in the 2024 season would be 58 receptions, 593 yards, and 5 touchdowns.
