A monumental setback for Real Madrid just before the El Classico as Carlo Ancelloti reveals Jude Bellingham‘s potential injury concern. Both Jude Bellingham and Fede Valverde are tending to lingering pains ahead of the Spanish Super Cup Final.

Doubt Cast Over Inform Jude Bellingham

Jude Bellingham Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham could not complete Friday’s training sessions after the 21-year-old was a victim of an adductor strain. Similarly, Fede Valverde, who was subbed off in the 75th minute for Dani Ceballos, experienced the same issue. Ancelloti addressed the situation in the press conference later on saying: “He had an adductor strain, like Bellingham. It was an unexpectedly hot game, it was very hot… and it could have affected both of them.”

Bellingham once again stole the show by finding the back of the net against Mallorca on a rather humid day, playing a pivotal role in setting up a thrilling El Clasico final against Barcelona on the 13th. Real Madrid, however, race against time to address the Englishman’s fitness issues and see if he’s fit enough to face Hansi Flick and his men with just two days to spare. Ancelloti will be gutted if the 21-year-old won’t be able to play as he could be the main factor in The Los Blancos lifting their third silverware this season, with sixteen goals contributions in 23 games in all competitions this season.

Race Against Time For The Midfield Duo

Real Madrid hopes their dynamic midfield duo will regain full fitness against the clock and just in time to face their arch-rivals, Barcelona. Jude Bellingham might just feature, but Federico Valverde, who had to miss the last 15 minutes of the game against Mallorca, could be a major concern for the Spanish Giants.

End of Rant

It would be bitter for Real Madrid to lose not only a final against Barcelona but also a second consecutive El Classico loss to their rivals. They will be hoping that their top players are all fit and available, and Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde are undoubtedly amongst the best, if not the best, in the squad.
