Earlier today WWE Ring Announcer Samantha Irvin announced she is leaving the WWE after three years with the company. Here’s what she said earlier, in her official announcement:
Irving joined WWE on April 23, 2021, and quickly became a fan favorite due to her unique style of introducing superstars and her infectious energy. She introduced Superstars like Chelsea Green, Gunther, Seth Freaking Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, John Cena, and other of your favorite Superstars with such passion, and catered unique announcing styles to the wrestler she was announcing.
We can see for ourselves just what she brought to the table:
Not only is she a phenomenal ring announcer, but she’s also a phenomenal singer and musician!
A better question might be: which incredible matches has she NOT announced? Samantha has been the signature voice of so many amazing matches throughout her career in wrestling, including a few recent blockbuster matchups:
Many believe that Irving will go to AEW to join her fiancé Ricochet but only time will tell. Regardless of what plans she might have in the near future, we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
