The Tennessee Titans finished the 2024 regular season with a disappointing record of 3-14. New general manager Mike Borgonzi will be tasked with upgrading the team’s roster, especially on offense. With Will Levis’ struggles, the Titans will likely find a new quarterback either in free agency or the draft.

With the first-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, all cards are on the table. If Borgonzi decides to find a new signal-caller in free agency, here are two quarterbacks that the Titans might explore signing this March.

Option 1: Aaron Rodgers

It’s not every day that a future Hall-of-Fame quarterback with four MVPs hits free agency. Despite the New York Jets moving on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, it’s still likely that he could play another season. While the Titans are far from being Super Bowl contenders, Rodgers would be a great fit in Nashville.

On paper, Tennessee’s roster is solid, and the team has good offensive weapons, such as wide receiver Calvin Ridley, touchdown machine Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, and elusive running back Tony Pollard.

This signing could also lure wide receiver Davante Adams to suit up and recruit other big free agents to Tennessee. Most importantly, it would be a great time to draft a young quarterback, as Rodgers’ mentorship would be very valuable. This would allow general manager Mike Borgonzi to use the first-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to boost the roster while using a Day 2 or 3 pick on a quarterback that could sit behind Rodgers for a year.

If the Titans want Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, the team would not have to rush them into the starting job right away.

Option 2: Sam Darnold

The former first-round pick didn’t find his footing with the New York Jets. After a few stops, he went to Minnesota as a bridge quarterback for JJ McCarthy. Darnold would have a breakout season for the Vikings, leading the team to 14 wins while throwing for 4,319 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. At only 27 years old, Darnold could be the face of the Titans for years to come.

While he is the most expensive option on this list, he can help the team compete for a playoff spot shortly.

End Of My Titans Rant

The AFC South is one of the weakest divisions, and adding a star quarterback can help Brian Callahan win his first division title with Tennessee. Could these Pro Bowlers find a long-term home with the Titans at Nissan Stadium?
