The stage was set for night one of Wrestlemania 41, within the first 20 minutes of the past Monday Night Raw. The Pandemonium that ensued during the fifth installment of the Netflix streamed flagship program of WWE.  13,000 screaming fans rose to their feet as rising star Jey Uso entered through one of Bridgestone Arena’s concession gates.

He wore a bright orange shirt that indicated to everyone in attendance what time it was. Yeet! It was spelled across Uso’s chest, and fans followed it in unison with his trademark, Yeet! Dance.

Yeet! Coming To WrestleMania 41

Thousands spat out the lyrics and offered the gator-style yeet dance chomp. Even renowned commentator Pat McAfee got into the act at ringside. Chomping, yeeting, and dancing, seemingly begging for more.

The scene reminded onlookers of Uso’s miraculous victory at the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble just a week before Monday Night Raw. That was when Jey Uso superkicked John Cena, which ended a back-and-forth between the two stars and crowned Uso as the Royal Rumble winner.

Jey Uso’s Meteoric Rise

The entrance couldn’t have been more grand for one of WWE’s favorite personalities. It was on the final yeet that Jey Uso was toying with the idea of actually providing when trouble arrived in ways that shocked those in attendance and audiences around the world. Gunther, the despised WWE World Heavyweight Champion, attacked Uso from behind as he conducted the crowd with one last yeet.

Those within reach of the six-foot-four 250 Austrian “Piece of Crap,” as Pat McAfee so eloquently put it, could do nothing in the way of warning Jey Uso of the oncoming giant.  The mailee continued, with Gunther tossing Uso into the ring. Gunther continued to pound on Uso until he appeared to have had enough. Teetering on the brink of consciousness, Gunther mocked Uso’s supporters and dared them to speak or step up.

Then, what could only be described as a heroic burst of energy washed over Jey Uso.  Perhaps it was the Yeet anthem that once again came over the loudspeakers. Or maybe it was Uso’s innate ability to take a pounding from all-comers and keep returning for more. In what was one swift instant, Uso jumped to his feet, leaped over the ropes, and suicide-slammed the stoic champion. For a minute, it certainly looked like fans would be given the match they craved. The fight, however, was broken up.

The Stage Is Set For WrestleMania

The antagonist, Gunther, suddenly became businesslike, indicating to Uso that WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas would be the time and place for their anticipated WWE heavyweight championship match. Fans in Nashville were undoubtedly given their money’s worth in drama and entertainment. That said, it appears that this main event will headline night one of WrestleMania at Allegiant Stadium on April 19th. The WWE World Heavyweight title fight will be one for the ages, between Yeet! Fan favorite Jay Uso and the Austrian and reigning champion Gunther.

End Of Yeet! Rant

Before WrestleMania, fans will have to wait and see what comes of the elimination chamber grand event at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada, to see the main event for night two. Early favorites to head that card are Cody Rhodes, but it is anyone’s guess who his opponent might be.

Some say Drew McIntyre is too tough to overlook as one of the frontrunners to survive the chamber. Others have Punk or possibly even Seth Rollins. One thing is for sure for WrestleMania 41, especially in Las Vegas, especially for night one’s main event: We will be Yeet! Dancing. The question is, will we have a new champion?
